Reinstalling Windows 11

Follow these steps to perform a clean installation of Windows 11 24H2, ensuring all traces of the previous operating system and bootloader are removed.

Step 1Prepare Your System

  1. Enable Secure Boot:

    • Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (the key to press varies by manufacturer, usually F2, F10, DEL, or ESC).
    • Locate the Secure Boot option and enable it. If your system does not support Secure Boot, skip this step.
  2. Prepare for TPM Configuration:

    • Note that Windows 11 requires TPM to be enabled during installation. You'll disable TPM after the installation has completed.

Step 2Download Windows 11 24H2

  1. Visit the official Microsoft website: Windows 11 Download
  2. Download the Windows 11 24H2 ISO file.

Step 3Install Windows 11

  1. Create a bootable USB drive with the Windows 11 ISO file.
  2. Restart your computer and boot from the USB drive.
  3. Follow the installation steps shown in this YouTube tutorial:
    • Select Custom Installation.
    • Delete all existing partitions on the system disk to remove any trace of the old operating system and bootloader.
    • Create a new partition and proceed with the Windows 11 installation.

Note: It is crucial to delete all partitions during the installation process to ensure a completely clean installation.

Step 4Bypass Microsoft Account Requirement

  1. During the Windows setup, Windows 11 typically requires a Microsoft account.
  2. To bypass this requirement, follow the steps in this Tom's Hardware guide.

Step 5Choose Password, Not PIN

  1. When prompted to set up a sign-in method, choose a password instead of a PIN.
  2. Disable TPM After Installation:
    • Within the BIOS/UEFI settings, find the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) option.
    • Disable TPM. If you're unsure how to do this, consult your motherboard's manual or search online for instructions specific to your motherboard model. Every motherboard is different, so we can't supply a tutorial for that part.

Step 6Post-Installation Cleanup and Security

  1. Open Reported, Clean, Reboot, Spoof and get a new EPIC/STEAM/EA account. Don't use an already kicked/banned account.
  2. Disable all network adapters that are not in use.
  3. Disable all virtual adapters (except VPNs that you plan to use).
  4. Disable all unused Bluetooth adapters.
  5. Use SORDUM to disable Windows Defender if needed and avoid using any custom operating systems.

Additional StepsRecommended steps if you's having unsolved issues

  1. Unplug all disks except the system disk during your first testing phase. (plug it back in later when you've verified everything is fine)
  2. Remove any USB devices that are not in use.
  3. Consider using Warp VPN (free version) and changing your IP address for additional privacy.
  4. Set up a local account instead of a Microsoft account during installation.
  5. Avoid downloading or using cheats and limit installed software to essential programs only.
  6. Remember to clean with Reported, even if your OS is fresh; this is mandatory.

By following these steps, you will have a fresh installation of Windows 11 24H2 without any residual data from previous installations.
